Why do we use polyester fibre filling?
The Owli 2.7 TOG Sleeping Bag uses polyester fibre as its inner filling, because fibre offers many advantages over cotton in padded products. Light and long-lasting, fibre helps the sleeping bag dry faster, keep its shape and stay even after washing. Cotton filling, on the other hand, can develop odours if it is not dried properly and evenly after washing, and can create an environment where allergens thrive. Cotton filling can also clump and become heavy over time, causing the sleeping bag to lose its shape.
Importantly, because the inside and outside of the Owli Sleeping Bag are made entirely of 100% cotton, the fibre filling never comes into direct contact with your baby's skin. So your baby can sleep safely and comfortably.
Care instructions
Washing: wash inside out on a delicate cycle at 30°C.
Drying: hang to dry or tumble dry on low heat.
Ironing: iron on low heat if needed.
Do not use bleach, to protect the product's colour and texture.
